CAPs
Hello, this weekend at the Platte County Fair in Columbus, I will be providing crowd control and security for Civil Air Patrol. Civil Air Patrol or CAPs is a cadet program for 12 to 18 year olds and even a senior division for 19+. They are an auxiliary unit of the air force. I also provided crowd control and landing zone security at the Space and Air museum near Ashland which, in my opinion, is a long trip but it is well worth it seeing all different kinds of planes and spacecraft. At the meetings we practice drills ,which I have almost got down, learn about Aerospace, learn leadership, and do a workout. A Benefit CAPs gives you is for when you join the Air force you don't start at the bottom which I think is cool.
This 4th of July, my family and I went up to Stanton and spent the night at our Grandparents' house. We watched the amazing firework show there. The show lasted about half an hour but it seemed longer than that. We had some great fun in Stanton and good memories. I can't wait until the next 4th of July. I bet it will keep getting better as the years progress.
